In January 2024 Nu-Cairn Ltd became the first company in Scotland to be granted accreditation with UKAS for the international ISO/IEC 17025:17 standard for water testing under CWCT standards - section 9 Hose Testing and section 10 Spray Bar Testing.
We are experienced in carrying out independent CWCT Standard site hose testing (AAMA 501.2-94) and spray bar testing (BS EN 13051:2001[E]) to identify the source of water ingress or confirm watertightness.
Leaks and draughts can be the result of the design or construction process, worn or misaligned parts or simply the settling of a structure. We can identify and eliminate the source of these potentially dangerous faults and help increase the safety and productivity at a facility. Following an inspection we produce a photographic report of any issues including a breakdown of curative measures with proposed cost implications.
Leak investigations can be carried out by performing a CWCT standard site hose test (AAMA 501.2-94) or a spray bar test (BS EN 13051:2001 (E)) to identify the source of the water ingress or confirm water tightness.
Draught investigations can be carried out to identify the cause of air ingress from above ceilings and below raised floors.
